Terms and Conditions

1. Conditions

1a. This agreement does not affect your statutory rights.

1b. This site, in full or separate parts, may be terminated, modified or suspended, without
notice.

1c. Energy Connect UK have the right to amend or change this agreement. These changes
will be posted onto our site and so it is your responsibility to check any alterations have been made, carried out or posted by us. After any changes have been made, your continued use will mean that you accept our new terms.

1d. By placing an order with us, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

1e. Confirmation of your order will be made by e-mail along with the reference number.

1f. All descriptions of goods on this site are those of the manufacturers and are intended only
as a general guide. Descriptions are not part of this agreement and we cannot be held
responsible for any changes in content, weight or packaging introduced by the
manufacturers.

1g. Product images on the site may vary from time to time, and the contents listed will be the
items shipped.

2. Prices

2.1. The prices listed on our site are our current prices at the time of your order. These are
subject to change or fluctuatation due to manufacturer’s pricing. When orders are
processed Energy Connect UK will contact you, without delay. If there are to be any
amendments to prices or any goods you will be given the opportunity to continue or cancel
your order.

2.2. Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling and the currency conversion is calculated using a
pre- determined exchange rate. This exchange rate may not reflect the exchange rate
used by your card issuer. We will, where at all possible, keep our exchange rates as up to
date as possible; however Energy Connect UK will not accept any responsibility for errors in
our displayed rate or its calculations or any difference between our displayed rate and your
card issuers.

3. Payment

3.1. You undertake to ensure that all details provided to Energy Connect UK Ltd for the purpose
of ordering goods are correct at the time of purchase and that the credit or debit card you
are using is your own or you have the permission of the owner to use theirs. It is also
imperative that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost and delivery of all the products
that you have ordered.

3.2. All payments will be in pounds sterling (GBP) and payment will be accepted using any of our
acceptable payment and ordering methods. Payments can be made online, through our
clearance agent Barclays, using the secure online encrypt server.

3.3. You must make payments in full before your order can be processed and your goods
despatched.

3.4. An invoice detailing goods despatched and the cost of carriage will accompany every order.

3.5. a. Delivery of goods to certain countries may be subject to import duties/local taxes, which
are levied on goods entering the purchaser’s country of residence. You are responsible for
any such payment direct to the relevant authorities, as we do not have control over these
matters and as such cannot predict any changes. You are advised to contact your local
customs office for advice prior to completing your order. Certain goods are banned from
import into certain countries it is your responsibility to ensure that you only order goods
that will be allowed access to your country of residence. We Energy Connect UK Ltd, will
not be held responsible for any goods that are impounded by your local customs agent. It
remains your responsibility to understand and work within the local laws of your
country. No refund will be given for any goods impounded by customs or local agents.

Please note, we can not accept/deliver to PO Box numbers

3.6. If a product you have ordered is out of stock or there is a delay we will notify you within 7
working days by e-mail giving you the opportunity to amend or cancel your order.

3.7. In any circumstance that requires a refund in part or in full of your order, we will endeavour
to process this refund as soon as possible and within 30 days of notification.

3.8. All deliveries shall be made by our couriers to the address supplied, by you, the purchaser
and at the purchaser’s own risk. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that someone is
available to accept and sign for the delivery.

3.9. All timescales given for a delivery are a guide only and we shall not be responsible for any
shipment delays.

3.10. The goods shall be deemed lost in transit if they are not delivered to you within 12 days of
your approximate delivery time. As such, to make a claim, you must contact us no later
than 15 days after the advised delivery date.

4 Returns

4.1. If you are not satisfied with all or part of your order you may return it for a refund subject to
Clause 4.2.

4.2. When returning goods they must be in their original condition, not having been tampered
with in any form and securely wrapped with the original packaging. Included with returned
item(s) should be the reason why goods are being returned. Goods are returned at your
cost to Energy Connect UK Ltd. The management of Energy Connect UK Ltd can and will
refund the cost of returned goods when the fault is deemed as within our control.

Force Majeure

We Energy Connect UK Ltd will not be liable for any delays in, or performance of, our obligations under this agreement, arising from any cause beyond our control. This includes, but is not restricted to, the following: invasion, act of war, act of god, act of government, act of local government, act of terrorism, failure of information technology systems or telecommunications, fire, flood, and/or industrial action.

Data Protection Act

The Customer agrees to us, the company, Energy Connect UK Ltd, retaining data in a manual and electronic format and to the use and processing by computers of such data provided by them the customer, in the course of the contract/purchase, on the understanding that this data is stored or processed in accordance to the data protection act 1984 and 1998.
